Notice to Simpsonville Residents
The City of Simpsonville will no longer pick up loose grass clippings. All grass clippings must be placed in sealed plastic bags. These bags can be placed in your garbage can along with your garbage. We will still pickup piles of brush, loose leaves and junk.
Basic Rules to Follow
1. Keep items to be collected away from anything which might obstruct collection access.
- telephone poles
- mailboxes
- flower beds
- trees, etc.
- do not park vehicles in front of items to be collected
2. All garbage must be placed in an approved garbage can.
3. Place all items on the CURB LINE, the area nearest the curb, not in the street or sidewalk.
4. Under no circumstances is construction debris (cabinets, windows, doors, lumber, brick, blocks,etc.) picked up by the City curb side. Go to DEBRIS/LARGE ITEMS for details on how to dispose of these materials.
5. Yard waste, yard debris or leaves should NOT be placed on the curb in cardboard boxes.
6. DO NOT place collection material on top of or near the opening of a drainage catch basin. Never place materials in a drainage ditch.
7. Go to the Trash Collection tab page for further information on collection of trash, yard waste, leaves, tree limbs, and Christmas Tree recycling.
8. To request the pickup of appliances, yard waste, construction debris, etc., click HERE to enter your service request.
